Corporate Responsibility

Bunzl is committed to building strong relationships and enhancing respect between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and other Australians. Our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) is about working with organisations across Australia to turn their good intentions into real actions. Bunzl is also a member of Supply Nation and a supporter of the Clontarf Foundation, organisations that support and encourage opportunities within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Bunzl Reconciliation Action Plan RAP

The RAP framework is based on three key areas:

  • Relationships: Develop external relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and organisations.

  • Respect: Raise internal awareness of Indigenous history, culture and contributions. Celebrate and participate in NAIDOC and National Reconciliation Week.

  • Opportunities: Create business development opportunities for Indigenous organisations through our Supply Nation partnership.

Supply Nation

Bunzl is a proud member of Supply Nation, a not-for-profit organisation that aims to grow the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander business sector through the promotion of supplier diversity in Australia. Supply Nation certifies Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses, facilitating and encouraging Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians to come together through business.

Bunzl Supports Indigenous Brands

Supporting Indigenous Brands

Bunzl is a distributor of Yaru Water, Huhtamaki Indigenous Coffee Cups, Wallawa Guest Amenities and Katermaster Indigenous products. These products are sourced through our partnerships with Supply Nation certified suppliers.

By selecting these products you are assisting to create respectful relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and other Australians, and supporting Indigenous businesses.

Clontarf Foundation

Bunzl is a proud partner of the Clontarf Foundation, a not-for-profit enterprise that works to improve the education, discipline, life skills, self-esteem and employment prospects of young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander boys.

The Foundation works in partnership with schools, and uses the existing passions of boys for Australian Football League, Rugby League and Cricket to attract them to attending and staying in school. Any male enrolled at school is eligible to participate in the Clontarf Academy. The academy provides an important school-engagement mechanism for at-risk students who would not otherwise attend or would have low school attendance.

Bunzl supports Clontarf, participating in events, as well as providing employment opportunities to Clontarf alumni. Bunzl and the Clontarf Foundation are united in our belief of investing in the future of young Aboriginal men, enabling them to better their own lives, as well as benefiting their local and broader communities.
